The story of a room

This is what is now Connor's room, when the previous owners of our house lived there. Notice the fugly wallpaper.




We then bought the house and Connor and I pulled off much of the wallpaper very easily. We had no idea what was in store. just some backing to scrape off, right?

Well... this is what happened. That wasn't the only layer of wallpaper, and the layers underneath were... troublesome to say the least. Matthew did a great job with the majority of the scraping while I painted the other rooms.


One wall almost done.



The second wall almost done too. It had some very interesting doodles on the original wall.

So so close.....



And now. Repainted blue with white trim. It is amazing, to me, that it is even the same room.

I will never put up wallpaper.

The line

Obviously in this picture we are not done, the trim all still has tape around it. This is downstairs. The yellow is the playroom. The green is the office. The line is where they meet.

I did that line. And I am strangely proud of it. I used a level and everything. lol
