I love my fuzzy friends!

Here I am with the stuffed animals for my 11 month birthday! They look smaller than I remember though...

Good afternoon everyone :).

Connor did the impossible last night. He fell asleep at 6:30 pm, and woke up at 8:30pm to nurse and put himself back to sleep. Um...

It was not meant to be ;). He woke up at 10pm and thought that all was a nap. *yawn*. I will spare you all the horrible late night details. ;)

But we're both awake and napped now! :)

Connor turned 11 months old yesterday. Which is okay... except that means that it is less than a month til he is a year old...

My goodness... what happened to my baby? He is fast becoming my little boy....

Happy 11 months munchkin!

We have moved into a new phase of existence.

We are no longer in the "crawling" phase. We are in the "walking" phase. Connor's figured out how to stand up without pulling up, so now, instead of crawling to something, pulling up, and then walking, he just gets up and walks. We haven't seen him crawl since a few days ago.

If I am very very quiet

No one will notice it is past my bedtime, because I am invisible.

Connor is feeling under the weather today. A slight fever and a very runny nose. He's too young to know he needs rest and to take it easy to get better, he keeps walking around and falling down. Poor little guy.

He is also finally figuring out how to stand up without pulling up. Go Connor!

Where does that phrase "under the weather" come from anyway?

That cat thinks he can get away

Hello again!

Connor got his second Prevnar shot today. He did well, he only cried a tiny bit right after and hid his face against me. In a minute he was fine.

He made a new friend, a 15 month old boy who was in the waiting room with us, he and Connor walked around hitting chairs and poking at each other and generally having a good time. Made the wait go by quicker!

Connor had some more broccoli-pasta-rice-tofu today, and he busily picked all the tofu out and ate it first. So he must take after me, for Matthew is scared of tofu. Mmm... tofu!

I got Connor's birthday party invites made today, I would post them for all to admire but they have personal address/phone info on them and I am not skilled enough to black it out. Maybe I will get a skilled friend to do so. :) I can't believe he is almost one!!

Good afternoon everyone,

So, in parent news, I seem to have broken my toe in sparring class Tuesday night. I have never broken anything before so this is a new interesting experience. I have it taped up and on its way to healing, except when Connor steps on it. It is like a magnet attracting baby stepping ;).

In Connor news, not much is new. Been eating brocolli-tofu rice and pasta casserole lately. Mmmm... yummy! He likes to pick up the pieces and smush them a little more than eat them but eating happens too. :)

Another lazy spring day

And another truck picture. This time he's looking at you :).

We went to visit Matthew at lunch because Connor was refusing to take a nap. He did nap in the car for about 5 minutes before we got there, and has been awake ever since. The results of the current nap effort are yet to be determined, at the moment, it is looking like a draw.

A truck is a wonderful toy

Connor just loves this truck he got for Christmas from his "T" grandparents. He can load it up with toys, or dump them out, or simply knock it on its side and spin the wheels like in this picture.

In this picture he is wearing two piece pajamas. A big step for mommy. I had kept him in one piece sleepers before this, but I decided it was time to try it. And it went well. I may even get some more if I see some at a yard sale this summer.

He still has his one piece ones too though and they make me happy. But he is growing up.

Welcome to our blog

I decided that it was about time I unleashed my son on the world. I am going to try to keep this up semi-regularly, current things and backtracking over the past 10 months as well. Mostly pictures but some thoughts too.

I have been as I get to it changing the date posted on the past pictures to reflect when they were actually taken, so although we started the blog today, there should be pictures to look at starting from June 30th, 2004. So check past months archives for older pictures! Eventually it will be connected from June 30th 2004 to the present but right now a big gap between will exist.
